These are the stairs we walked down into the amphitheatre. On the left side are the original steps.
These are frescoes of some saints or someone. I forget who.

The amphitheatre with Cheryl and our guide in the picture. I don’t know what he was doing. He was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the history of his country.
I just looked it up on Wikipedia. It was built in the 2nd century a.d. under Trajan’s rule. The left side of the pictures is a mosaic.
Ain’t the internet grand? 🙂

Nice but very expensive. It was worth it, however.
Before I zoomed in I thought Cheryl was Julie. The saints on the wall are stunning.
