Clean Teeth

Among the gifts Turkish Airlines gave us – a piece  candy called  Turkish Delight,  a steaming hot towel – was a bag of necessities for travel, including a small toothbrush and a tiny tube of toothpaste.  I must have brushed my teeth five times last night.   Four a.m. and we’re in the shuttle, waiting for others so we can go to the airport.

  1. I think I better go to bed and get some sleep for you! I don’t know if you will be taking pictures or not, but maybe a Turkish bird of some sort? We will be staying tuned for more adventures.

  2. I bet your teeth are clean for sure. I hope you get enough sleep to have fun in Rome. Try to send pictures to me or to Zach so we can post them. Have fun.

  3. Yum! I LOVE Turkish Delight – especially the pistachio flavor.

Speaking of tooth brushing – You mentioned non-potable water in Albania. We had the same problem in China. My tip is to keep a washcloth draped over the faucets so you won’t forget and use it for brushing your teeth. That’s the only way I could remember.
