Today we finally reached Verizon and my phone now works. Why is it that almost everything is so difficult? Lola couldn’t give the correct answer for one of her secret questions to Yahoo so she couldn’t read her email on my computer. You know those questions they ask you for security, like, what’s your father’s middle name or who is your favority personality. Lola couldn’t remember the correct answer to where she met her husband.
Today we road the Hop On and Hop Off bus all over Paris and saw many wonderful sights. We had a great lunch at a sidewalk cafe and Susan picked the restaurant.
Lola sounds like me, I have the worst time remembering all the security codes & questions! Sounds like you are all off to a great start. Enjoy
Lola remembers the first time she met her husband but she can’t find the correct answer: in my mother’s kitchen, San Francisco, my mother’s house, etc.,etc.
We (Julie & I) are enjoying your time in Paris and love, love Hop-On/Hop Off tour buses! We know we stand largely alone on our appreciation for tour buses, the Hop On/Hope Off type (only) & probably more my appreciation than hers!) but we are glad to know that at least four old broads abroad incorporated the experience in furtherance of enjoying the scenic adventures of Paris!
We’re enjoying following you….be safe!
Btw, did I mention that I took a Hop On/Hop Off (HOHO) bus tour when we were in Paris? Julie had to work, so I booked myself a HOHO excursion. I couldn’t wait. When the bus arrived, there was a crowd of people waiting to board. I climbed atop the upper tier (only seat available) and it began pouring rain shortly after take off. Needless to say, I stayed longer than needed at some of the “Hop Off” attractions and fought hard to secure a lower seat, which finally happened. I didn’t even care (that much) that it was a very narrow (did I say very narrow?), driver jump seat! Yep, fun times!
It started raining on our boat tour and all of had forgotten to bring our umbrella. Thankfully it didn’t rain hard or long.
