We left Bakersfield at 12:45 pm and arrived at LAX at 3:15.  Susan wrote this in her notebook:  “This shuttle bus is a piece of crap.  Just what I was afraid of.  They came earlier than planned with four other passengers.  This vehicle will be lucky to make it over the ridge.”  Well we did make it and are waiting to board the plane.
